S.O.C.K is a non-profit, member run group which was originally formed in 1996 as the Singles Outdoor Club of Kingston to give single people a safe environment in which to participate in outdoor activities.  In 2009, the club members decided to rename the club the 'Singles Only Club of Kingston' as a better reflection of both the indoor and outdoor monthly activities of the club.

The club is made up of people age 50 and over who are single, divorced and widowed although there are no age requirements.  All official responsibilities are carried out on a volunteer basis by members.  We have an elected executive committee.  Any member can run for office.

We are not a dating service.  Single people can join in club activities in a non-threatening atmosphere while making lots of new friends.
